What is Real-Debrid?

Real-Debrid is a paid service that downloads files to its own servers and lets you stream them as normal online video. Files that someone has already requested are cached, so they start almost instantly. Torrentio can check Real-Debrid for cached copies of the streams it finds.

Why use Real-Debrid with Torrentio?

• Faster starts: cached streams begin in seconds, even in 4K.
• No P2P from your device: the stream comes from the debrid server, not from other peers.

Step 1: Get your Real-Debrid API key

1. Log in to your Real-Debrid account in a browser.
2. Open real-debrid.com/apitoken.
3. Copy your private API token. Treat it like a password.

Step 2: Add the key on the Torrentio configure page

1. Go to torrentio.strem.fun/configure.
2. Under Debrid Provider, choose RealDebrid.
3. Paste your token into the API Key field. The “Find API Key” link opens the same Real-Debrid page if you need it again.
4. Optional: tick Don't show download to debrid links to hide files that are not cached yet.
5. Optional: tick Don't show debrid catalog if you don't want your Real-Debrid catalog in Stremio.

Step 3: Install and test

1. Click Install and confirm inside Stremio.
2. Remove any older Torrentio entry in Add-ons › Installed.
3. Open a popular movie. Streams marked [RD+] are cached and start right away.

• Sorting: By quality then size, for the best bitrate.
• Exclude: Cam and Screener, plus Dolby Vision if your TV doesn't support it.
