Torrentio Lite is a preconfigured version of the Torrentio addon for Stremio. It runs on the same service from the same developer, but comes with preset settings that keep the stream list short and clean. Here is exactly what it changes and when you should use it.
What is Torrentio Lite?
Torrentio Lite lives at torrentio.strem.fun/lite. Its configure page looks the same as the normal one, but some options are already set for you. It isn't a separate app, and it isn't a “lighter” version for weak devices. It simply shows fewer, more relevant results.
Torrentio Lite default settings
- 14 providers: YTS, EZTV, RARBG, 1337x, EXT, ThePirateBay, KickassTorrents, TorrentGalaxy, MagnetDL, HorribleSubs, NyaaSi, TokyoTosho, AniDex and nekoBT.
- Regional providers off: Rutor, Rutracker, Comando, BluDV, MicoLeaoDublado, Torrent9, ilCorSaRoNeRo, MejorTorrent, Wolfmax4k, Cinecalidad and BestTorrents are not selected.
- Cam and Screener excluded.
- One result per quality, so you see the best 4K, 1080p and 720p option instead of a long list.

- Change any presets if you want (debrid, language and so on).
- Click Install and confirm in Stremio.

Can you install Torrentio and Torrentio Lite together?
You can, but you will see duplicate results from the same source. Most people pick one. If you switch, uninstall the other from Add-ons › Installed.
Is Torrentio Lite faster?
It doesn't make the server faster. The list is just shorter, so it is quicker to choose a stream. If Torrentio is down, Lite is usually down too. Check our live status checker.
